My name is Sarah, and I'm an experienced native British English TEFL teacher/ Coach, with 14 years experience in language teaching. I am also a qualified Primary School Teacher and I taught young children in the UK before moving to Portugal in 2012 to teach English as a second language. 

Over the years, I have taught a wide variety of students- children and adults. I have worked at two well regarded language schools as well as International Schools. As well as teaching children and teens in a fun and interactive way. I also now focus on  teaching and coaching adult students online. My experiences have enabled me to develop a wide variety of effective teaching skills and techniques. I pride myself on planning lessons that are tailored to each learner’s individual needs, goals, and interests.

As a language learner and busy mum of two, I understand how challenging it can be to learn and practise a new language while managing a busy schedule. My goal is to incorporate short, effective sessions that help students practise regularly and build confidence. I’m passionate about helping learners overcome the barriers that prevent them from speaking English confidently and supporting them in reaching their objectives.
